USS Gemini, Captain’s Log, May 2021
USS Gemini, Ship’s Log, Stardate 99011.15 The Gemini is now out of the repair dock. Luckily, the damage sustained from our altercation with the insectoids was not too extensive. Although we had a close call, Al’s presence was not confirmed by the repair crews. We will have to be more careful during future repairs to provide Al with an escape route. We’ve taken on new crew and are about to engage in a battle simulation. The odds are stacked against us, but I look forward to our first opportunity to use the tri-vector assault mode outside of holo-deck simulations. With the new crew, it will also give us a chance…

USS Gemini, Captain’s Log, April 2021
“Ship’s Log, USS Gemini, Stardate 98846.69, Captain Sam Hansen Reporting After another encounter with the Xindi like insectoids, I am pleased to be returning to space dock. The encounter we had with the insectoids was harrowing to say the least. If the species wasn’t scary enough, it seems the creatures have at least one subspecies that have psychic abilities. Unfortunately, most of the crew, myself included, found out the hard way. The Betazoids amongst us were the hardest hit. Two of my officers, Lieutenant Rochelle and Lieutenant Commander are returning to Betazed to seek help in relation to the mental trauma. An away team, led by Commander Sharp, found a…

Hansen stepping down as Coach
Good Evening everyone, I am afraid that I have some sad news today. Our dear friend Capt. Hansen – USS Gemini has chosen to step down as a Task Group Coach within Zodiac Fleet. I am deeply saddened by this, but I am perfectly understanding of his reasons. His absence in this role is going to be solely missed. When we first created the Coach positions he was one of the first persons nominated for the role and won in a landslide. He has been my constant companion in this group, has brought forth many incredible ideas that have made this fleet a better place, and has been a constant…

USS Gemini, Captain’s Log, December 2020
Ship’s Log, USS Gemini, December 2020 “The USS Gemini is under attack and I find myself in a very odd situation, command of the ship because many people are incapacitated, including the Captain and the XO is on an away mission. I seem to be the only one who is not impacted by what is affecting the crew. We find ourselves engaged in combat with an unusual foe as their weaponry passes through our shields and there is no visual evidence of anything being fired. Our weapons seem to be being blocked by shielding we can not detect. I am hoping we can find a way to defeat our enemy.”…

USS Gemini, Captain’s Log, June 2020
Ship’s Log, Stardate 98097.35, Captain Sam Hansen Reporting “The Gemini prepares for her third mission under my command. It seems in the last six months over two dozen small vessels of various kinds have disappeared in the triangle region. We’ve been assigned to find out who is behind this, put a stop to it, and hopefully retrieve the individuals who were aboard. Making the job of tracking them down a touch harder is none of them managed to get a distress call away. On a positive note, our new Chief CONN Officer has come aboard. She is quite eager to get the Gemini into space. Hopefully the two work well…

USS Gemini – Breaking News, May 2020
“This is Federation News Network reporter Chuck Finley with breaking news. The Draedan system sun unexpectedly went Super Nova today. Sadly, nearly one-hundred thousand individuals lost their lives, including FNN’s very own Natalia Morrison, when Draeda V was destroyed. As Draeda V was the home of the just opened joint Federation, Klingon, and Romulan colony, the state of intergalactic affairs and the recent cessation of hostilities is now in jeopardy. A handful of civilian ships escaped the devastation. In addition, a number of coalition ships led by the USS Gemini did what they could to evacuate some from the planet. All in all, approximately one thousand lives were saved. We…

USS Gemini, Captain’s Log, April 2020
Captain’s Log, Stardate 97930.35, Captain Sam Hansen Reporting We managed to get to Draeda V in one piece with no more mysteries. On the good side, we brought on our new Second Officer, Lieutenant Commander Bennett and it seems like she will be a good fit. I feel bad as I asked her to take on the Chief Science Officer role until Commander Jaeih’s replacement arrives. On the not so good side, by chance most of the senior crew ended up at a bar on the planet. It was a decent bar by the looks. Some of us didn’t get to stay long as some Klingon’s got a bit aggressive…

USS Gemini, Captain’s Log, March 2020
Captain’s Log, Stardate 47634.44, Captain Sam Hansen Reporting We’ve arrived at the Draeda V colony in one piece, more or less. We did have a very, startling discovery though. We had an unexpected rendezvous with Admiral Reskin of Starfleet Security and Romulan Commander S’Til. It seems, Lieutenant Commander Jaeih, was a member of an ultra-conservative Tal’Shiar group opposed to the new Romulan Government. She was involved in the bombing of the Romulan Treaty Ceremony 6 months ago. She also had been the individual who set the DNA bomb up for me. Then she further turned out to be some sort of bug like creature. Doctor Fula worked with a Romulan…

USS Gemini, Captain’s Log, February 2020
Captain’s Log, Stardate 47634.44, Captain Sam Hansen Reporting We have rendezvoused with the USS Renfield and transported Ambassador Jin aboard. We will be transporting her and her team to Draeda V for the opening of the joint Federation, Klingon, and Romulan colony. Some are saying it will be Nimbus all over again. Hopefully they are wrong. I seem to be moving up in the universe. Someone attempted to assassinate me. Why, I don’t know. We found a bomb with a genetic trigger, set to my DNA. Luckily the bomb didn’t go off. Commander Kroqus has assigned security guards to me. Although the guards try to be unobtrusive, it is a…

USS Gemini Captain’s Log, January 2020
“Captain’s log, Stardate 47634.44, Captain Sam Hansen reporting I am pleased that Starfleet has returned me to command of a Starship versus a desk. There are too many things to investigate for me to have to make a fight for a ship or find my own. It is another Prometheus class vessel and my request for her to receive the name of Gemini was granted. One thing I am more pleased at than getting a new ship, is that I was able to convince my former senior staff to believe in me again and join me in the search for those that took the lives of so many of our…
