Captain’s Log Stardate 97763.38
I’m entirely certain that this week will go down in the history books as one of the weirdest to ever take place with a change of command, that is if it is recorded at all. As there were no space battles and no lives lost it will probably be forgotten by history.
We are currently welcoming cadets on board, I’m not sure they are up to the challenge that Starfleet has thrown at them. My XO shares these concerns. We seem to . . . fit well together so far.
Time will tell on both counts I suppose. I’m looking forward to getting my feet wet in my first command and seeing what this old bucket of bolts can do to serve Starfleet’s ideals.
