USS Orion, Captain’s Log, February 2020

Captain’s Log, supplemental:

The Orion was scheduled to rendezvous with the USS Flying Spirit in order to transfer over new officers but we’ve received a garbled distress call from them. Someone or something has taken the Flying Spirit off course and possibly caused it to crash on a nearby planet. We have begun a search operation and have tracked down a weak ion trail most likely from the missing ship. Hopefully, we will be able to find some answers before it’s too late.
